Aogiri Mikan & Sansho Soda
This artisanal Japanese soda is crafted in Kochi, on the island of Shikoku, using green mandarins grown in Haruno and sansho (Japanese pepper) produced in Kochi Prefecture.
The green mandarin provides a fresh and slightly tangy flavor, while the sansho adds a spicy and fragrant note. Its light and refreshing sweetness pairs easily with meals, especially fish dishes and Japanese cuisine.
This soda is also distinguished by its fine and delicate effervescence. Unlike quickly produced carbonated drinks, carbon dioxide is slowly incorporated over 2 to 3 days to obtain particularly fine bubbles, reminiscent of champagne.
A Japanese citrus and sansho soda
To be enjoyed chilled, this artisanal soda from Kochi can be sipped on its own or served at the table to accompany a meal. The combination of green mandarin and sansho brings fresh citrus notes accompanied by a slight spicy touch.
